By popular request, we’ve added a compostable PLA baguette bag to our sandwich bag range. These are 110 x 350mm, fully compostable, and are made from annually renewable resources. They use a 40 micron white back and 25 micron clear front.

We offer food-grade bags made from both Natureflex, a film developed by Innovia, and also a PLA (corn starch) film. In both cases, the bags are fully compostable, with Natureflex being suitable for home composting. We find that a 30 micron Natureflex bag is very robust, and so these are used for assembly of cutlery packs (both meal kits and mixed packs).
PLA is more economic and is therefore ideally suited for larger bags and sheets for food wrapping. We use a 25 micron clear PLA front, with a 40 micron white PLA back, which makes a stunning and functional sandwich / food bag. For the food-wrapping sheets, we use 25 micron PLA film.
