Production d’acide acrylique à partir de matières renouvelables CARGILL et NOVOZYMES collaborent à la mise au point d’un procédé de synthèse de l’acide acrylique à partir de l’acide 3-hydroxypropionique (3HPA), lui-même obtenu par fermentation enzymatique du sucre. Le marché mondial de l’acide acrylique brut est actuellement de 3,1 millions de T/an dont plus de 1 million de T sont utilisés pour les polymères super-absorbants et le reste pour les fibres, les revêtements et les peintures acryliques.
